Standing at the kitchen counter twiddling his thumbs—for lack of a better word—seemed to take up more of his time than expected since he’d chosen to stay behind while the others had gone out to…wherever it was they’d headed off to. Jasper almost hadn’t realized Rosalie had stayed behind as well until he’d heard his name being called and immediately he recognized the familiar voice and looking up, he answers “Hm?”
’ You didn’t leave with the others either? ’ —-She was mildly surprised, though she knew Jasper, just like her enjoyed the silence most days. Of course with a husband like Emmett and a wife like Alice there was hardly ever a time for calm. Though, she was sort of glad she wasn’t alone in the big house.
