Dean replies, a huff of air escaping his nose in an undignified snort. She makes one of her own and suddenly he doesn’t feel quite as bad for it anymore. 

Until he gets a good look at her eyes; unnaturally amber in color. The woman brushes pass him and the hunter knows he needs to follow.

                       ”— Hey.”

He turns, hands up with palms flat. He isn’t as drunk as he smells like but there’s a decent buzz in his veins.

                        “I completely recommend the bellini here.
                         Thought it was going to be crap but—
                         Bellinis have changed my outlook on life.”

He’s staring, almost as if he was analyzing her, a fact she wasn’t all that comfortable with. Ever since she’d been changed she’d been careful. Calm and collected. Rose would not act suspicious of course. It would set off his alarm.}
